Sorry, I am not sure with what you mean by that... could you elaborate?

Do you know if the RPM in the linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net was compiled with 
that ?

Yes, but I am using this in a dual boot system that has NTFS partition on it. 
So the samba solution won't work.
