I had a similar problem. It seems to be caused by that bug: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=158965 There's a comment on that page saying: "Fixed in selinux-policy-*1.23.17-4". Unfortunately, FC4 still includes older versions: [levin@joh ~]$ rpm -qa | grep ^selinux selinux-policy-targeted-1.23.16-6 As a workaround, I disabled selinux, rebooted and it worked fine. HTH, Levin
