To make xine work, in my case, I use the rpms from http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/ and as superuser rpm -ivh libxine* xine-ui* rpm -ivh libdvdcss2* rpm -ivh w32codec* Everything has worked nicely.
