How to connect to an ISP using a callback?

I have installed Fedora Core 3. How to connect to an Internet Service
Provider using a callback. It is done automatically under the Microsoft
Windows: the provider calls back after the first connection, and a new
connection established. But when I try to connect using
system-config-network 1.3.22 (under the X), the first connection fails,
redial follows and again and again. A connection established properly
without callback.
Should I muster a PPP and related to solve the problem, tell me please,
what have I read to do so.

	Sincerely Yours, Elisey Babenko.
