As Dave (our kernel guy) stated, the drivers is maintained again by a
different person. The site you find many info about it:

http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/

Running FC2/FC3 you will find the module in you kernel:

/sbin/modinfo pwc

Instead of the previous driver which was split into 2 parts - pwc and
the closed source pwcx - the current driver is a single mode. For me it
works as good as the previous one with my Philips webcam.
