VNC server on Fedora 3 causing Windows client CPU overload

Hi. This looks like a familiar problem without much of a solution. I am trying to manage my Linux box using VNC from my windows notebook, but it maxs' out the CPU causing overheating and BLINK! - it's turns itself off!

This only occurs when connecting to the linux box - I can connect to a windows box with no problems.

I suspect it may be able to be fixed by configuring the server side, though have no idea where to start with this.

Please help!!

Nicholas

PS - any alternative/better remote management (GUI) suggestion would be appreciated..
