Continuing on: The first part is if you cannot boot to your SCSI drive. Your problem is that you cannot boot to the SCSI CDROM. So the question is "Does your SCSI controller allow you to change or select the SCSI device for booting?" If not you may need to change the address of your CDROM so that it is at SCSI address 0. If that does not work boot from the IDE drive.
