The line in modprobe.conf is : alias char-major-81 bttv options bttv card=39 tuner=33 but the system doesn't seem to take care of the tuner type it seems to autodetect it. But i don't know what type of tuner i have. The line was added by system the first time it detects the card. If i put tuner=3 i find tuner=33 in dmesg. I think to a kernel module problem in this kernel version because with a previous (do not remember which release) it worked fine! There is also this error in dmesg when i try to change channel in tvtime: tuner: tv freq set to 767.25 mt2050_set_if_freq freq=767250000 lo1 lo2 = 496 294 num1 num2 div1a div1b div2a div2b= 1 b66 28 4 23 6 bufs is: 1 11 28 cb 66 63 mt2050_set_if_freq failed with -121 mt2050: enabled antenna connector 1 Maybe i will send a message on devel list ?? No one else has problem with bttv ?
