Hi, I have configured the xorg.conf (i.e. /etc/X11/xorg.conf) to allow a dual monitor display (i.e. my Laptop Screen and an extrenal Monitor through the VGA port at the back of my laptop). However, eventhough my external monitor is capable of resolutions > 800x600 (with WindowsXP I get my external monitor to resolutions as high as 1600x1200), it looks like my external monitor resolution does NOT improve (beyond what I think looks like 800x600) even with proper changes/edits to the xorg.conf file. I have currently set both my laptop screen and my external monitor to "1024x768", but my external monitor resolution looks really low (more like 800x600) compared to my laptop screen resolution. I have pasted my xorg.conf file below (and attached it). Please take a look at it and see if I am doing something wrong there. Laptop Screen : "screen0", "monitor0" Extrenal Monitor: "screen1", "monitor1" I am using the Radeon ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 videocard.
