My cupsd.conf file keeps changing, adding printers I had deleted and
removing access to networks other than 127.0.0.0. I'll edit the file and
restore it to the state I want it. But after the next reboot or seemingly
after a few days, the file has changed again. What is changing cupsd.conf?
What file or files controls what gets put in cupsd.conf?

IIRC you must remove system-config-printer if you want to edit the cups
files by hand.

I don't really mind system-config-printer overwriting my cupsd.conf file so long as the end result is what I want. I would like to keep as "standard" a FC3 system as I can. How do I configure system-config-printer to give me the desired configuration?
