Well, I'm danish and english isn't my native language, so your first line is a bit unclear to me.
However it is clear that you consider my post as pure B(ull)S(hit). That is a perfectly valid opinion to have - no matter how silly it is, since you haven't done any research whatsoever.
You haven't read earlier posts from me (maybe you don't have them? In which case you cannot read them, of course) - you haven't done any google'ing.
I found a post describing exactly what I'm describing (and with documentation) and it took less than five seconds of google'ing. And it was a post I haven't seen before.
And Axel's reply to that post was:
1) There is no such problem (sic!)
2) If proven otherwise, I will not fix it.
3) I don't have valid reasons to not fix it.

Turns out the problem was proved to exist and Axel right out said it wouldn't be fixed. And true to his word, it hasn't been fixed even though it's 11 months ago now. So my actions are perfectly justified.

Do some google'ing on "dependencies atrpms" or "remove atrpms" or "problems atrpms" and so on. You'll see that Axel knows about it, and knows how to solve it - even solving downloadbandwidth issue for users with modem - and you'll see that he just doesn't want to fix it. Rather he'll keep up using his microsoftish approach.

And last but not least. I don't have problems with other repositories - just ATrpms, which is why I'm removing them manually, while saving documentation on the troubles with his packages.

As long as Axel refuses to fix these easily fixed issues, I'll smite him with my axe ;)

and you spend all this time trashing his reputation online but not a
second entering a bugzilla as he specifically asked you to do.

shame on you

Craig

Craig, for god dammit.
Haven't you read ANY of my posts!?

I've already stated, that I'm collecting the needed documentation to enter a proper bugreport at bugzilla.atrpms.net. I've stated that in this mailinglist, in my post to Axel as well as in the above post from me. Read it twice and you'll see I'm collecting documentation - read my post to Axel and you'll see a bugreport is coming today.

Read my posts, and do some research, and you'll see the issues raised by me are nothing but duplicates of issues other persons have had. And Axel has declared, he won't fix them - therefore Axel will not fix the bugs I file to him, because he hasn't fixed the other bugs which the same bugs as I'm reporting about.
The fact that Axel himself has declared, he will not fix it is enough to keep axing him, because it's very bad of him to release packages, he knows are buggy - especially when he won't fix it.

Summary:

1) My bugreport is nothing but a duplicate of earlier 'bugs' / 'features' - reports from other users.
2) Axel already knows exactly what is wrong - this seems to escape your eyes.
3) Axel has declared he won't fix it - and he hasn't so far - also this seems to go unnoticed by you.
4) He has no valid reason not to fix it - the fix is easy (his own words).
5) He keeps telling about his wonderful packages, leaving out the truth about them - actually he's right out lying about them.

Conclusion: He's harming the community and therefore somebody has to keep pushing him, 'till he implement the fix. And that person appears to be me, since you don't dare to confront your guru.

I will not answer more of your posts until you have (re)read my posts and/or done some research (use www.google.com if you don't know what google'ing is).

Kind Regards,
Kristian Poul Herkild
