Its already compiled into FC3 kernel
/lib/modules/2.6.9-1.698_FC3/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/powernow-k8.ko

You'll need to configure 'cpuspped'
.i.e edit /etc/cpuspeed.conf and add:
DRIVER="powernow-k8"

Also check '/usr/sbin/cpuspeed -help'

The 'battery charge applet' should show this information. (you can add
this to the panel)
