Hi,

I upgraded from FC2 to FC3 at the weekend. Fantastic upgrade! Nothing
went wrong, and a few things improved.

One of those things that improved was xmms, and since it was working
properly with the sound, I also sorted out the MP3 capability, etc. I
was very pleased yesterday afternoon.

I did a yum - y update last night and it upgraded the following
elements:

Nov 21 21:49:06 Updated: xmms.i386 1:1.2.10-9.1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:07 Updated: libsndfile.i386 1.0.11-1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:08 Updated: libsamplerate.i386 0.1.2-1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:09 Updated: xmms-skins.i386 1:1.2.10-9.1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:09 Updated: xmms-crossfade.i386 0.3.8-1.1.fc3.fr

Unfortunately I now get a Segmentation Fault with xmms. No other
message, and I can't find a similar bug on bugzilla.

That would be something to report to either freshrpm bugzilla (if they have one) or xmms bugzilla, and not Fedora bugzilla, since you are no longer using the fedora build of xmms (which works perfectly for me but YMMV) and Fedora developers can not be expected to fix someone elses build.
