XMMS yum upgrade and Seg Fault

Hi,

I upgraded from FC2 to FC3 at the weekend. Fantastic upgrade! Nothing went wrong, and a few things improved.

One of those things that improved was xmms, and since it was working properly with the sound, I also sorted out the MP3 capability, etc. I was very pleased yesterday afternoon.

I did a yum - y update last night and it upgraded the following elements:

Nov 21 21:49:06 Updated: xmms.i386 1:1.2.10-9.1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:07 Updated: libsndfile.i386 1.0.11-1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:08 Updated: libsamplerate.i386 0.1.2-1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:09 Updated: xmms-skins.i386 1:1.2.10-9.1.1.fc3.fr
Nov 21 21:49:09 Updated: xmms-crossfade.i386 0.3.8-1.1.fc3.fr

Unfortunately I now get a Segmentation Fault with xmms. No other message, and I can't find a similar bug on bugzilla.

Has anyone else experience this? If it's not a common problem across the FC3 userbase then I will report it.

I haven't done much to it, apart from install a few packages to play mp3's.

Alternately, if there is a trivial fix or cause, then I'll resolve it.

Thanks,
Joe
