I'm trying to play a musical dvd and it starts to play for one second and stops for 'end of file'

I had installed the latest codec's from mplayer.hq but why cann't it detect no audio as there are two tracks
a stereo and 5.1. I'm using mplayer 0.12.20041025.1.fc3.fr on FC3.
Any one know whats going on :-)
