Changing the subject in an ongoing conversation is just plain rude. 2. DO NOT REPEAT DO NOT quote *six pages* of stuff just to add two lines at the bottom. Delete whatever old text you do not need, since no one needs to read the same entire long post three times. You waste time for 4,000 people by making them swim through page after page of useless stuff, and *that* will get you a very bad reputation. Good manners are important on email, too.
