Hi Justin,

the Standard 2.6.x Kernel supports all bcm57XX series chipsets with it's
tigon3 driver. If you look at the Ethernet section of the 2.6.8 kernel
config Fedora Core 3 you see this:

#
# Ethernet (1000 Mbit)
#
CONFIG_ACENIC=m
# CONFIG_ACENIC_OMIT_TIGON_I is not set
CONFIG_DL2K=m
CONFIG_E1000=m
CONFIG_E1000_NAPI=y
CONFIG_NS83820=m
CONFIG_HAMACHI=m
CONFIG_YELLOWFIN=m
CONFIG_R8169=m
CONFIG_SK98LIN=m
CONFIG_TIGON3=m

It looks as you are in for no trouble :)

Have fun,
./Tom
