When I insert this DVD, the drive churns for several seconds before deciding that the disc is unreadable. I keep the disc around in the hope that I will run across a burner some time that will "fix" it. I do not know of a command that will perform the equivalent of "format this DVD+RW, even though you (the drive) think no DVD+RW is loaded." I tried several tools on Windowx XP and none of them could bring the disc back to life, either. Kevin Freeman
