Hi,

I liked to install this editor JEDIT - I´ve downloaded all rpms from
http://www.jpackage.org and installed them with rpm -Uvh. Everything
worked well and JEDIT appeared in the gmonemenue - but I cannot start
it. Nothing happens. tail -f /var/log/messages is without any message.

Do I need to install java sun sdk first? If so, is there a RPM?

Thanks in advance!

Stefan
