Its not even that, mplayer for linux will work with wmv's (even the streaming ones using the mplayer plugin for mozilla) but because their website doesnt detect all the msbs then we're stuck. I wish I had the programming knowledge to make a plugin that would just tell it that we're running ie6 with wmp10, then it would load up the page right, and if you were using firefox and the mplayer-plugin then it would even work right. -Matt On Mon, 15 Nov 2004 05:09:44 -0700, Gerald Thompson <geraldt@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi guys, > > I kind of like watching music videos on the web and was thinking that we > seriously need to start putting some market pressure on Yahoo to make > Launch.com work on Mozilla and Firefox under Windows, and even pressure > them to switch to real media format so that the videos will work on > Linux.
