OT: Launch.com music videos under Mozilla and Linux

Hi guys,

I kind of like watching music videos on the web and was thinking that we seriously need to start putting some market pressure on Yahoo to make Launch.com work on Mozilla and Firefox under Windows, and even pressure them to switch to real media format so that the videos will work on Linux. (They will never switch to an open source media format so forget that right now, Real Player 10 works fine on Linux so if they switch to Real Media they will be able to hit the Windows audience, Mac audience, and Linux audience all at the same time.)

That link is the yahoo feedback form.

They sent me some crap response thanking me for my input. More important though they sent me a survey asking if my issue had been resolved to my satisfaction. The survey is the important part, I know how corporate metrics work and if we can skew their metrics to say they are not resolving all cases involving Linux and Firefox, it actually effects the bonuses the managers get. I work for a big company, and when surveys say that issues are not being resolved then the managers for that department lose some of their yearly bonuses. So it is really important that when they ask you to do the survey saying whether your issue is resolved, make sure you do the survey and put lots of notes in about why you are dissatisfied.

I know some of you couldn't give a shit about watching music videos, so this is more for those who like some multimedia with their Internet. Also for those who get really pissed off by stupid companies that don't realize there are more people in this world then damn MS Windows, IE, wmv users.
