Well people.can't anyone really help me?
i have posted the problem several times.but no one has replied.
my problem is after installing FC3 (and could achieve the mediacheck with the "linux ide=nodma" command) GRUB failed to boot.and after i rewrote the mbr with WinXp cd.and can now use Xp.

my grub.conf file is like that:

# grub.conf generated by anaconda
#
# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file
# NOTICE: You do not have a /boot partition. This means that
# all kernel and initrd paths are relative to /, eg.
# root (hd0,1)
# kernel /boot/vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/sda2
# initrd /boot/initrd-version.img
#boot=/dev/sda
default=2
timeout=5
splashimage=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
hiddenmenu
password --md5 $1$2fihTOO8$DrnR5QsZZFoyxr.ml6WN10
title Fedora Core (2.6.9-1.667smp)
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.667smp ro root=LABEL=/ ide=nodma rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.9-1.667smp.img
title Fedora Core-up (2.6.9-1.667)
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.667 ro root=LABEL=/ ide=nodma rhgb quiet
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.9-1.667.img
title Windows
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

what can be done to boot them together.i could not open FC3 yet.
