Hi, I have installed recently Fedora Core 3 on a computer with a SATA harddisk. After instalation the kernel does not boot. (RedHat nash... is the last message that appears and after that nothing happens). I tried to install another kernel from a cd by booting with the rescuecd but I cannot mount the cd. I have a ASUS DVD-RW that works only with ide-scsi and this driver is not present on the rescuecd. The computer does not have a network/modem card so the only solution is to install another kernel from a cd. How do I solve this? What kernel do you recommend? Thanks.
