I downloaded FC3, check the md5sums on the iso and they were fine. Burned the 4 cds on my Red Hat 9 machine and then tried to install FC3. During the media test, the first disc passed, but 2-4 failed. I reburned 2-4 and they still failed. I then tried "md5sum < /dev/cdrom" (on the RH9 machine) and got I/O errors sometimes but did get the correct md5sum with discs 3 and 4. I tried disc 2 a couple times and finally gave up and tried the install and it seemed to work. I've got an old IDE Plextor 12/10/32 speed burner. I haven't tested FC3 a lot and probably won't switch until the gatos drivers are available for FC3 for my ATI 8500 AIW card so I can use the tv tuner. I've got two hard drives so I left RH9 on one and installed FC3 on the other. For now I'm back to RH9. I guess I could try to start the install again and enter: linux mediacheck ide=nodma unless Stormblaze gets to it before I do. Dave
