I had thought with using a graphical interface such as > synaptic for apt I could get files that would install through synaptic > without going to using CD-ROMs. I installed several systems by pointing at the FC2 repositories (only!, remove the FC1 ones) and running apt-get upgrade; apt-get dist-upgrade. YMMV
