James, > Stupid question, probably, but your CD-Rs are rated for 28x, aren't > they? As it happens, these are Sony blanks and say 1x-48x compatible, so I wouldn't expect there to be a media problem. Like everyone, I get the odd reject/bad-media but on the whole they are OK. Jonathan
