Thanks for looking into this, it's greatly appreciated. I have tried that w/ no success (I guess I should have mentioned that in my first posting). Actually I modified /boot/menu.lst, which is also a link to /boot/grub.conf, this should have the same effect correct? (I could check to verify, but once again I am at work not at the machine in question).
