I even get better resolution using rdesktop than I do natively. As for running it at login, I just have an icon on the desktop and run it when needed. I just added it to my session, so it starts up when I login, and that works for me, too. You may want to look into IceWM for a smaller WM, but I just use GNOME. Forrest
