Well, the vendor is quiet about that, it says "Complies with ATA/ATP-6 specification revision 1.0". I am not a specialist, and google does not find any documents what that means.


Now if you could only see the first 137GB of the disk that would a problem.

Well, it looks good (it's the sda1):

$ df
Dateisystem          1K-Blöcke   Benutzt Verfügbar Ben% Eingehängt auf
/dev/sda1            196015808    419976 185638748   1% /mnt/usb1

185 GB free space, 5 % is reserved for the "superuser", I hope it can use the space. I'll see.
