Benn using them for the past couple years on everything, just so I get the grounding on each pin. They are only a few cents more than the 40 pin cables. Normally I have extra with all the drives I purchase. Thanks everyone. I'll have to try the firmware update this weekend. You have definately given me something think about. Is there a way to see the current firmware in Linux of the drive? So I know how old the one is that is currently on there? -=/>Thom
