To be honest, I'm not really sure. I would have to do a little
research before I could answer that question. I have used Gnome
exclusively for years. I was so impressed with KDE 3.2, when I saw it
on a friends laptop, that I thought I would check it out. This was
about 3 months ago. Since then I have been so focused on "general
linux activities", that I have hardly had time to delve into the inner
workings of the window manager. Nor have I really had the need.

Is there anywhere you could post a screenshot of what you're
experiencing, then send the link here? I think the could be
application specific. Or, could be related to the Bluecurve "theme".
Have you changed anything from the default theme? Gnome and KDE
looked almost exactly the same when I first booted into each WM, but
now, my KDE is quite customized. And other than not knowing where the
GUI switchdesk tool went (until I saw your question and used the
command line one)I haven't had any problems using KDE.

If I turn up anything I'll be sure to let you know.
