You cannot load it? how so? what sort of file is it?? rpm? src.rpm?
tar.gz??

If you want to load up Fedora, meaning you want to install right, you
would have gotten the .iso images from the net and burned them right?? (
I presume using Nero and burn Disk Images?)

If that's the case, you should be able to just pop the cd into the
laptop, and get the laptop to boot up from the CD and that should get
you startted.
