Is this a difference between ckermit and gkermit.
IIR FC2 made a change.

The FC1 package should install and run. You might have to remove
the new one first. Scan the cdroms images.

Do check your .kermrc file.
If there was a change from gkermit to ckermit then this
might matter.

On FC2 I see.
$ kermit -V
C-Kermit 8.0.209, 17 Mar 2003, for Red Hat Linux 8.0
