It is possible that these errors are not related to what ever is making it so difficult to get k3b to believe in the cd-rw. So maybe they are harmless. I Simply had a problem getting k3b to recognize the drive and started looking for errors. When I found those in dmesg, I figured there may be a link, hence wanted to know what the errors actually mean. If it's about what's in the drive, I'll see what happens with a couple of music CDs in during boot & maybe during k3b startup... In any case, thanks! - -- | --- ___ | <0> <-> Joe (theWordy) Philbrook | ^ J(tWdy)P | ~\___/~ <<jtwdyp@xxxxxxxx>> ############################################################## # You can find my public gpg key at http://pgpkeys.mit.edu/ # ############################################################## -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA+LAqRZ/61mwhY94RAhjZAJ9mTICsTy9QTnGN6OXQ1Xeo+n2PBQCeMVn/ V3AP9+xZBMqBKa8aM7nKhZo= =mL7w -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
