Hmmmn yup it figures. "fedora.us" sigh. Pardon my jumping in here But
I haven't yet upgraded my firefox and want to avoid the problems the OP
had. I'm not exactly an expert with package management systems such as
yum, But with the help of a few good example yum.conf files I managed
to get yum working for me.

But back when I was learning to set it up, There was a lot of talk about
problems that can occur when packages from different repositories
conflict. At that time the experts were saying that you could mix
fedora.us & Livna.org together -OR- you could mix freshrpms & dag.
But it was strongly advised not to mix anything on the left of the above
"-OR-" with anything on the right. And because I had already installed
pine from dag I went with the dag & freshrpm selection.

Does anybody know if dag or freshrpms have a "working" firefox 0.9 for
FC1 &/or FC2 ( I have both ) and was planning on doing a:
# yum update
on both of them this coming weekend. But it sounds like I should
instead consider doing a:
# yum update --exclude firefox
on one or both of the FC1 and/or FC2 installations?

Thanks!
