Also with Linux :)

This means you are trying to run i586 kernel modules on a i686 kernel.

"athlon" suggest you are using the i686 kernel.

It is, just uninstall

kernel-module-ivtv-2.6.6-1.435.2.3-0.1.10-37_pre2_ck97v.rhfc2.at.i586.rpm

and install

kernel-module-ivtv-2.6.6-1.435.2.3-0.1.10-37_pre2_ck97v.rhfc2.at.i686.rpm

(the difference is i586 -> i686)

I guess you manually installed the rpms. apt and yum would pull the
right one for you, have a look at
