Well, wasn't going to try this nVidia driver on node1 until I had it
working 100% on node2, but I did. Same problem(s) on both boxes.

Am booting the latest kernel from up2date (2.6.6-1.435-2.3) and have the
6106 nVidia driver. I wanted to be sure I did not have a bad video card,
but both machines give identical results.

startx with nv works great just no 3D and since that is the purpose of
this build I need the nv is unsatisfactory. Using the nvidia driver with
dri line removed gives garbage splash screen when start and the
pointer/cursor is a square of graphic garbage. Usable, but ugly as sin.

Adding line to turn off HWCursor and turn on SWCursor does get rid of
the garbage, but as soon as you move the mouse there is no pointer at
all. Oh it's there. Ya jus' can't see it.

The hardware setup again is:

Twin Dual PII 266MHz
DTK motherboard
259mb RAM
PS/2 KVM with LT Marble FX and Memorex Keyboard

Twins are bonding on 192.168.2.0 through eth0 and eth1

node1 has eth2 to network 192.168.1.0 and internet

Am really on the virge of scrapping this install and trying FreeBSD.

Help!
