I am a little bit confused...
I have IPV6INIT=no in etc/sysconfig/networking-scrips/ifcfg-ethx (where x maybe 1 or two having two cards and not in any other places .
Is IpV6 disabled???
Antonio
Run "ifconfig -a" to see whether IPv6 addresses are assigned. Run "lsmod | grep ipv6" to see whether the kernel module is loaded and whether it is used.

I understand that IPV6 is on: what is the meaning of sit0??? and why do I see inet6 reference in all interfaces but ppp0???
Tnx for your patience
