Just this line

Don't change this line:
>      x:5:respawn:/etc/X11/prefdm -nodaemon (changing 5 to 3)

Yep. If you hit CRTL-ALT-Backspace in X it will give you back runlevel 3 (Ie. 
TTY). You need to type "startx" again then to get back in X.
