No, it is 100% a GTK problem.  GTK2 uses the config files in /etc/gtk-
2.0 to figure out where to load some modules.  These config files are
generated by a postinstall scriptlet in the gtk2 RPM.  On an AMD64
machine, those files contain only paths to 64-bit libraries.
