ok the correct syntax is to use back ticks found on your tilde key,
Like this find /in/this/dir/ `(fileinbrackets)*`
tadah!
That is almost certainly not what you want. Check the man page for bash under Command Substitution.
Lets hope none of your '(test)a' files contain anything harmful when executed.
