{Twilight Zone theme ...} I did some console hopping and didn't see anything starnge at first, but then, one this one obscure console, I saw it was trying to access the IDE beyond it's range ( the silly thing, it was FC2 after all who partitioned the disk for me!!!), so, I started a new install, and this time did a manual install and made my own structure, /boot = 200MB, swap = 2GB, / = 80GB and /var = rest. Now it works!!! Is there a partition size limit? The only diffs here is that the auto partition made: /boot=100MB swap = 2GB / = rest ( approx 117GB) On Wed, 2004-06-02 at 22:07, Avery Earle wrote: > Do some console hopping to see if there's anything about > SATA (hde, most likely) and a lost interrupt.
