Everyone,
Since updating to the latest kernel (2.4.22-1.2188.nptl), I've had problems with my HP IDE Tape drive. Previous kernels everything worked. ~ This kernel just reports when using the generic IDE drivers that the 'device / resource is busy' if I use the IDE-SCSI emulation drivers, I get 'Input/output error'...
I know the tape drive is OK.... Just don't know why Linux has stopped working with the tape drive.
I'll have to test my IDE-CDRW drive now to be sure I can still make CDs.
PS: Its an HP T20i IDE Tape drive if that helps.
