I have 2 different KVM switches. Neither is Belkin, one is an old 5+ years linksys. The other is at home and I don't remember the brand. The linksys switch does not work at all with wheel mice, probably because it predates them. The other works most of the time. With 2 Fedora installations I loose the mouse if I don't use the exact same driver settings for both. I have never had a problem with Windows 2k and either switch. Of course the manufactures do most if not all their testing with Windows and not Linux.
