Folks,

From this article I just snagged from eWeek, looks like there is an entity
that is going to pick up the mantle of ongoing support for RH9 (as they
have for RH 8 and earlier versions).

The support won't be free, but if you have a mission-critical system running
RH9 you need some breathing room to convert, this just might be a decent
alternative.

PROGENY TO OFFER RED HAT 9 SUPPORT | eWEEK

Red Hat Linux 9 users facing the end of the road for their favorite
Linux distribution may not have to take the plunge to Red Hat
Enterprise Linux just yet. Progeny Linux Systems Inc. is expected to
announce today that it will support Red Hat Linux 9 beginning May 1
through 2005. Progeny already supports RHL 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0 through
2005.
