The latest perl-5.8.3-10 package has the directory permissions fix needed to install alongside spamassassin and the others. Checking the development tree just now, however, I see that it now contains perl-5.8.3-6 from Feb 16. Maybe someone found a problem with the -10 package. --Doc Savage Fairview Heights, IL
