Hy mandar. Did u try MAKE INSTALL? MAKE INSTALL adds all u need to the /boot
directory and makes the changes u need in GRUB.CONF. so all u have to do is:

1 - make menuconfig
2 - make bzImage
3 - make modules
4 - make modules_install
5 and last - make install
