Make sure you're using the 2.6.3 kernel.

There was an article on el Reg this week about Intel and Linux.

I've tried about 60 laptops since the middle of last year. The only ones
I've had problems with were the really nasty bottom end ones. I'm not
saying they're fibbing, I'm saying that results may vary.
