And that's not even the kicker -- the kicker is that the alternative he's
using is *Slackware*. An even less appropriate product for the role in which
he's using it.
Don't know much about Slackware... I'm still running good ol' RH 7.3 on
my Web servers, (with the latest versions of certain apps) just because
they're very stable, and I've documented the setup, so that I could
probably do it without a monitor plugged in. :)
