For some reason the symbol fonts (Symbol, Open Symbol, Standard Symbols) do not behave in OpenOffice 1.1.0 on Fedora. Inserting symbols from the dialog is ok, but typing them does not work and neither does import/export to MS Word doc format. These things do work on RH9 using the same version of OOo, so this seems to be a regression. Can someone in the know try to find out what is going on? Mikko
